Inclusive Preschool Class
2010-2011 School Year
Dear Parent/Guardians:
The Runnemede School District will expand the inclusive pre-school program for 3* and 4* year old Runnemede resident children. The district is currently seeking ten (10) 3 year-old and fifteen (15) 4 year-old non-disabled children. Half day classes will provide developmentally appropriate instruction. All children who were in the pre-school class in the 2009-2010 school year will continue in the program.
The three-year old program will be located at Volz School and the four-year old program will be located at Bingham School. Classes will meet 5 days a week. Tentative hours are: morning session will be 8:45 to 11:15 AM; afternoon session 12:45 -3:15 PM Class size will be not more than 15 students per class. The cost of the program will be $1,250 per school year. If the family is eligible for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program, the tuition will be reduced. NO transportation will be provided.
Consistent with standard nursery school practice, the child must be toilet trained. A child with a consistent problem in this area may be asked to leave the program.
